Just like Marie who moved back home after a long stint in Los Angeles, I received a Jury Summons for my former county of residence. Hello? It’s almost been a year since the move. WTF, man!
I got a jury summons from Maui more than 2 years after I moved to SF…they threatened me with a bench warrant for my arrest for not showing for jury duty! I called the court and said that if they wanted to send 5-0 to arrest me in California, they were more than welcomed to! heh
Haven’t gotten summoned for jury duty by a former residence, but did get a ticket. Apparently my car was illegally parked on Telegraph Avenue while also being parked outside my new apartment in Maryland!

Well, if they won’t pay for the hotel, they probably wouldn’t pay for airfare either. Some agencies just don’t think.
