A Day in the Life of Sachi

Not bloody likely.

Just like Marie who moved back home after a long stint in Los Angeles, I received a Jury Summons for my former county of residence. Hello? It’s almost been a year since the move. WTF, man!

Today I am 29 again. So, why do you care? You care because I’m in such a good mood that I’m running a contest.

There are two parts to this contest and you are allowed to participate in either or both.

Part 1: My cousin who lives on the Island of Okinawa sent me a lovely little necklace. The pendant is made from the island’s special glass. (It glows in the dark too! But that’s beside the point…) My mother helped her choose the pendant which is in the form of an animal. Guess the animal and win a prize!

Part 2: Come up with the most enjoyable lyrics to “Happy Birthday”. Post them here, win a prize!

Prizes will be yarn related. I will likely do a wee bit of tailoring to suit color tastes and chosen fiber art but I’ll have a pool from which I can pull.
